Sales Director Asia
The Zwiesel Fortessa Group with Headquarters in Germany is a global leader in the tabletop industry. With our brands Schott Zwiesel, Zwiesel Glas and Fortessa we are among the global leaders in the HoReCa and premium Retail. We are standing for innovative and premium-quality glass, porcelain, and cutlery products that set benchmarks in our tabletop industry.
As part of our strategic growth plans in Asia, we are seeking a dynamic, locally based Sales Director Asia to expand our business in HoReCa and Retail in Asia (focus on South East Asia & Greater China).
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the HoReCa, premium retail, and wine trade sectors to increase market penetration
- Partner & Key Account Management: Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with regional distributors and strategic key accounts, ensuring long-term growth and mutual success
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive regional strategy to establish a foundation for sustainable growth in the region
- Sales & Market Reporting: Provide structured sales reports and in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities
- Market Presence: Represent the company at trade shows, events, and forums to enhance brand visibility and establish strong networks
- Sales Expertise: Proven sales experience (3-5 years) with a premium brand in a two-tier distribution model, ideally within the tabletop or premium consumer goods sector
- Channel Strategy Knowledge: Deep understanding of distributor models, key account management, and channel strategy development, with the ability to optimize partnerships and maximize market penetration
- "Sales Hunter" Mentality: A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, combined with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute growth strategies while maintaining a hands-on approach to daily operations
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-driven mindset with the ability to take ownership of initiatives, act independently, and drive results
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; additional language skills relevant to the region are a plus
- Location & Travel: Home office-based within the region, with regular travel across Asia
